105: How to Leverage Your Passion Into Purpose with Amy McLaren

I love when little positive actions add up to something big. Don’t you?

That’s why I am talking all about how we can make a big impact with passion, purpose, and little daily actions in this interview with Amy McLaren.

This busy mom of two splits her time between leading LadyStrength, a growing online community of driven, entrepreneurial women, growing an Airbnb business, and being a hands-on CEO of Village Impact, the charity she and her husband founded more than a decade ago.

Village Impact partners with communities in rural Kenya to provide community-led access to quality education and entrepreneurship opportunities. To date, Village Impact has built 14 schools that deliver education to nearly 5,000 students daily.

Amy is sharing so many great actionable steps that we can put into our daily practice in this episode!

Value Bombs:

  • Tips for someone trying to find their passion
  • How to put your passion and purpose first
  • How to show your children what is possible
  • Why it’s helpful to compartmentalize your life into buckets
  • Different ways you can fill up your time with positive things
  • How your authentic relationships can help your life and business
  • How to make a small impact daily in your community
  • What we can all do to make a bigger impact abroad

Help Amy and I make a bigger impact by donating to Village Impact or by purchasing one of Amy’s books. We are matching every single donation up to $1,000 until the end of the year!

Remember, no donation is too small. Head on over to brandimowles.com/villageimpact to get involved!

I cannot wait to see what daily actions you decide to take to make a bigger impact and follow your purpose! Make sure to let Amy know what you decide to implement into your life as well. You can find all of the links below to connect with her through Instagram or her websites.
