What if I told you that you could go from spending hours upon hours on client work to checking in for maybe 10 hours a month… while making more money?
That’s exactly what happened to Natasha, one of our newest Conversions for Clients students. And y’all, her story is one of those that makes me want to stand on a rooftop and shout because it proves everything I teach about making the transition from organic services to paid ads.
Here’s the short version: Natasha joined Conversions for Clients, landed two ad clients within two weeks, made her entire investment back, and completely transformed how she spends her time. But the real magic is in the details, so let me break this down for you.
From Branding to Pinterest to Meta Ads: Natasha’s Seven-Year Journey
Natasha is a mom of two living in the Los Angeles area, and she’s been in the online space for about seven years. She started with branding and web design, then transitioned into Pinterest management over the past couple of years.
Sound familiar? If you’ve been doing this for a while, you’ve probably pivoted at least once. And here’s my quick sidebar on that: always just use your own name for your business because your business will evolve over time. How you start is probably not where you’re gonna be seven years from now.
As Natasha told me, “I have changed my business name so many times. I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve had to refile things, and just, it’s such a mess.”
Trust me, I learned this lesson too. When I started, I called myself Brand by Brandi, thinking it was all about building your online brand. But everyone came to me for website graphics and branding, and I was like, “That’s not what I do at all. Just use your name. It saves so much hassle.
The Pinterest Problem (And Why Organic Services Can Burn You Out)
So here’s where things get real. Natasha was charging her Pinterest clients anywhere from $775 to $997 a month. When I asked her how many hours a week she was spending on accounts at that price point, her answer hit hard.
“It’s a lot. It’s a lot to where I couldn’t even track it because I would be tracking my time not working. That would be better tracking because it was just hours upon hours. And really, for what I’m putting in, for what they’re paying me, it just wasn’t worth it.”
Y’all, this is the trap so many service providers fall into with organic services. You’re working constantly, you can’t see exact results, and the money you’re making doesn’t match the time you’re spending.
And Natasha was honest about another frustration: “I am actually really unhappy with what the clients are also seeing. I wanna do work that’s providing an ROI. I don’t wanna do a service that is lukewarm or mediocre results.”
That right there is the mindset of someone who’s ready to level up.
Why She Finally Pulled the Trigger on Conversions for Clients
Here’s the thing about Natasha. She actually took one of my free courses back in July 2025. She knew she wanted to learn ads, but she was too busy with client work to dive in.
Then at the end of January, she saw an email from me at 10 o’clock at night and just decided to sign up. No overthinking. No waiting for the “perfect time.”
As she put it: “I was like, I’m doing this. I love what she’s saying, and I know that it’s possible and I know that I can do it, and I know that I’m gonna have everything that I need inside the course.”
She didn’t listen to the voice telling her to wait. She trusted the process and did the dang thing.
And here’s what really stood out to me about her approach. She told her husband about the program… after she made her money back. She was so confident in herself and in the program that she didn’t even feel the need to have that conversation until she had results to show.
Two Clients in Two Weeks: How She Made Her Investment Back Fast
Now let’s talk about the results, because this is what y’all are really here for.
Within two weeks of joining Conversions for Clients, Natasha landed two ad clients at $1,000 each per month. That’s her investment made back before we even hit the 45-day mark.
How did she do it? She already had existing clients.
This is something I always tell people: if you already have existing clients, you can make this happen quicker because you have that know, like, and trust already built in. Plus, if you can land clients for one service, you can land clients for another service. You’ve already developed that skill.
Natasha went straight to her Pinterest clients and offered to add ads to their services. She gave them a slight discount at $1,000 per month (since they were existing clients), locked them in for three months at that rate, and told them the price would go up to $1,500 after that.
Smart, right? She used the risk reversal approach we teach, but made it her own.
“I really just listened to everything that you said and didn’t listen to myself in that moment because I trusted what your advice was,” Natasha shared.
The thing I drill into everyone’s heads is this: it might take a while to get clients, so why not start asking and start reaching out immediately? Don’t wait until you feel “ready.” Start before you think you’re ready because by the time clients normally come in, you’ll have the skills down.
From Hours and Hours to 10 Hours a Month
Okay, now here’s the part that makes my heart sing.
Remember how Natasha couldn’t even track her Pinterest hours because she was working all the time? Let’s compare that to her new reality with ads.
When I asked her how many hours she was spending on her ad clients, she laughed.
“Oh my goodness. I was just telling my husband about this. I’m like, let’s go to the beach tomorrow. I am checking in, letting it run. I’m not clicking too many buttons, as you say. I’m just letting it do its thing. And I probably have spent maybe 10 hours in the last month.”
Ten hours a month. For the same money she was making, working constantly.
That right there is the difference between organic services and paid ads. You make more money, you work fewer hours, and you can actually see the results you’re getting for your clients.
Why Ads Were the Perfect Fit for Natasha
Here’s what I love about Natasha’s story. She has this unique combination of skills that makes her perfect for ads.
“I loved it. I really love the aspects of ads because I have the creative side from the branding and web design, but I also have the analytical side that I love. In my career before the online space, I was an accountant, so I love the stats and the strategy behind it all.”
If you’ve got both the creative brain and the numbers brain, ads are going to light you up. You get to create compelling visuals and copy, and you get to geek out over the data and strategy.
And here’s the other thing. With organic content, whether it’s Pinterest or Instagram or whatever, you’re always wondering if what you’re doing actually makes a difference. With ads, you know right away. Does it work or does it not? There’s no guessing.
That certainty was something that really attracted both Natasha and me to this work.
The Mindset Shift: When Less Work Feels Weird
Now, I want to address something that comes up a lot when service providers transition from high-touch organic work to ads.
It feels weird at first.
When you’ve been conditioned to work constantly, and suddenly you’re making the same money (or more) while working way less, your brain starts playing tricks on you. You feel like you’re not doing enough.
I asked Natasha if she’d experienced any of those thoughts, and she admitted she’s still catching up mentally. “I am seeing it, and I am in the process of trying to catch up with my Pinterest clients so that I can reap more of the benefits of the ads.”
This is totally normal. Once you have your safety net established and you know the money is coming in, you start to realize that time becomes more valuable than money. My goal is always to work the least and make the most. That’s not lazy. That’s smart business.
What Natasha Says About Conversions for Clients
One thing Natasha mentioned that I think is worth highlighting is how she felt joining the program.
“I feel like I really trusted you. I knew that you had everything that I needed. There’s a Facebook group, I didn’t even realize there was weekly calls as well, and I’m like, I can’t fail. Like if I actually do it, this is everything I need. There’s no excuse besides me not doing it.”
And about the content itself: “There is a lot of content. There’s a lot. But having experience in the online space, I understand now that I don’t need to go through all of this. It’s just there for me when I’m ready.”
This is exactly how the program is designed. It’s not an A-to-Z course where you have to consume everything in order. It’s a library. You don’t go to a library and read every single book. You get what you need, you get out, and you come back for the next thing.
That’s why we give lifetime access. I don’t want anyone cramming everything in and burning out. Take what you need when you need it.
Her Next 90-Day Goals
Natasha’s got a clear vision for what’s next. Her goal is to phase out Pinterest management completely and go all in on ads.
“I wanna do work that’s providing an ROI. With the ad management, I feel like it’s so much more tangible. These clients can transition with me into ads. We can have new clients, but my goal for the next 90 days is to phase out that service and to just go all in on ads.”
The one thing I did coach her on during our conversation? Don’t stop your marketing minutes. She landed her first two clients and paused on outreach. This is such a common pattern with new ad managers, and I always say: Don’t stop until you hit at least three clients.
Get that momentum going, then you can ease off the gas a little.
The Unlimited Opportunities in Ads (That Natasha Wants You to Know)
Before we wrapped up, Natasha shared something that I think is so important for anyone sitting on the fence.
“There’s so many opportunities when it comes to ads. There are a lot of things that you see online with ads, but the different businesses and niches and ways that you can go after working with clients is really unlimited. I’m used to the online space. That was where I initially thought, but there’s local businesses, there’s e-commerce businesses, there’s just so many different ways that you can find a niche that you really would love to work in.”
This is so true. When you learn ads, you’re not limited to one industry or one type of client. You can work with online coaches, local dentists, e-commerce brands, real estate agents, literally anyone who needs to get in front of more customers.
What You Can Learn from Natasha’s Story
Let me break down the key takeaways from Natasha’s journey:
- You don’t need to wait until you feel ready. Natasha signed up at 10pm on a random night because she trusted the process. She stopped listening to the voice telling her to wait.
- Your existing clients are your fastest path to new revenue. If you already have clients for another service, start there. The know, like, and trust is already built.
- Organic services often trade time for money at a terrible rate. If you’re spending hours upon hours and can’t even see clear results, it might be time to reconsider your service offering.
- Ads give you your time back. Going from “I can’t even track my hours” to 10 hours a month is a life-changing shift.
- Share your wins. Natasha said she’s not normally a big sharer, but she committed to posting every win in the group. It kept her motivated and helped others see what’s possible.
- Trust the process and do the dang thing. The students who get results are the ones who actually implement what they learn instead of waiting for perfect conditions.
Is This Your Sign?

If you’re an early-stage service provider ready to add a high-income skill, head over to brandimowles.com/100k and see if ad management is your next right move.
The worst-case scenario with Conversions for Clients? You get in, you get one client at $1,000 a month for two months, you make your investment back, and if you absolutely hate doing ads, you never have to do it again. But you’ll have learned a skill that’s in massive demand.
The best case? You do what Natasha did. You make your investment back in two weeks, fall in love with the work, and completely transform how you spend your time and make money in your business.
