Let’s talk about hiring!

Despite what you may think, I don’t hate hiring. I think it’s really great if it’s done at the right time. In this episode of Serve Scale Soar®, I am joined by Julie Calcote, one of the OG members inside of Serve Scale Soar®, to talk about how to know when it’s time to hire someone for your business and her best tips to do it.

Julie is an Online Business Manager and Creative Business Strategist from Anchorage, Alaska. After working in the legal sector for almost a decade, Julie took the plunge into the online space in 2018. Now, her happy place is partnering with and coaching 6 and 7-figure entrepreneurs who have big ideas but who need the support, systems, and team to simplify and shine.

In my time as a business owner, I have seen a lot of people rushing to hire someone before they’re really ready because that’s what they were told they should do by other business owners. You don’t have to worry about how others run their business! Your business needs are unique, so your journey will be unique. Julie is here to help make sure that you know how to determine if hiring someone is really the right choice for you.

Value Bombs:

  • The importance of consistent revenue in your business before hiring
  • Why your social media presence doesn’t determine your success
  • Why you should consider home hires before business hires
  • How to determine what tasks you need to outsource
  • When and how to do a time study
  • Why you need a project management system
  • Common roadblocks to hiring

This episode is packed full of great information. No matter if you’re ready to hire now, later, or if you just need to delegate some stuff around the house, I hope this episode inspired you to go and do a time audit to find out how you can start delegating so that you can get more time back in your business and life.
