Ready to learn more about planning for the expected in your business and life?
For the last nine months, we have been doing a four-part series all about planning for the expected in your business and life. In this episode of Serve Scale Soar®, we are diving into part 3.
I’ve been sharing how you can plan for something in your life that you know is coming up so that your business is still set up for success when you need to step away. If you haven’t gotten the chance to listen to parts 1 and part 2 yet, I highly recommend you check those out first before diving into this episode!
This whole series has been helping you set up systems and your business processes so that you can be ready for something you know is going to happen. Whether that’s being pregnant and going on maternity leave, taking an extended vacation, taking several weeks off of your business, or having kids home for the summer- we want to be able to plan ahead so that you’re still successful, even while away.
In this episode, I’m sharing what you need to be doing when you’re in the last 90 days before your planned leave because the unexpected will happen, and you want to be prepared.
- Asking for help is a good thing
- Unexpected things will pop up no matter how much you prepare
- How to deal with the fear of losing your business
- Practice sessions are great for preparing for an extended leave
- Why you need to leave white space in your calendar
I hope you found this episode helpful! Life happens. Learn from my mistakes and plan to have those last thirty days open so you can deal with things that come up with ease and less stress.
After my maternity leave, I’ll be back with part four where I’ll share what I did, what worked, what didn’t work, and what I would do differently. Make sure to watch for that episode!
